FCA BASKETBALL "SHOOT-OUT" was hosted by EAST HENDERSON HS for Boys' and Girls' teams on June 13th.  A long, hard day of competition was held in this round-robin format.  Boys Teams Participating:  EHHS, R-S Central, Polk and TC Roberson.  Girls Teams Participating:  East Henderson HS, North Henderson HS, Asheville Christian Academy, R-S Central, Landrum SC.  Each particpant received a "FCA Inside-Out" T-Shirt. 

Special Thanks for our FCA volunteers who helped share a quick thought of encouragement for the teams after each competition time.

FOOTBALL "7 ON 7" was hosted by TC ROBERSON HS on JULY 9th.  8 Area Teams competed in the 4th FCA "7 on 7" Event.  Hendersonville, East Henderson, West Henderson, North Henderson, Polk, Brevard, Rosman and Host, TC Roberson.  Teams competed during the day with great character and sportsmanship representing their programs and communities well.

At end of each competition a 2 minute drill was offered by FCA Volunteers highlighting for the teams a play or situation from the competition and how that situation on the field relates to life and faith journey each of us faces.  Each participant received a FCA T-Shirt and Lunch.

FCA CAMPS:  55 area student-athletes and 10 coaches attended either a Leadership, Team or Sports Camp offered by FCA in NC, SC and GA.

FCA FEEDS 750 COACHES @ AT NC COACHES CLINIC:  The North Carolina FCA Staff hosted a FREE lunch for Coaches from all areas at the State Coaches Clinic in Greensboro on July 22nd. 

Jim Grobe, Head Football Coach at Wake Forest University shared how God's Hand was evident in his coaching and in his faith journey and how faith is integrated in his program.
